Prototype Capabilities
Creating a prototype part from a 3D model can be an essential step toward a production- ready design, and Advent is more than capable with our extensive internal capabilities to produce a model part with short lead times. Before any investment in production tooling occurs, our advanced CAD/CAM desgin expertise along with high-speed CNC machining centers utilize your geometry to put a functional model into your engineer's hands for final evaluation of the part design.
Should your project call for production intent material and process, we can rapidly build single cavity molds and cavity sets as well. Often times, part or all of this tooling can be used in the final production tool – thereby maximizing the lessons learned and reducing overall project cost. Moreover, generation of SLA/SLS models is available when this is the preferred path to be taken.
