In order to ensure that quality is an integrated part of the manufacturing process, we have trained departmental cross-functional teams led by Lean Six Sigma Green and Black Belts. Advents' cross-functional Quality team employs the latest data analysis software to support the product development stage and identify the optimum manufacturing process.
Advent's experienced metrology staff has full part inspection capabilities utilizing state-of-the-science equipment. These include:
- Brown & Sharpe® CMM with 2006 PCDemis probe scan capabilities.
- OGP® SmartScope Flash
- Tinius Olsen® Plastometer to measure flow index.
Adhering to the most exacting standards, Quality supports development and production with a comprehensive electronic based Document Control area for accurate and timely maintenance of engineering files. Additionally, there are integrated internal and external Corrective Action/Problem Solving reports that are linked to our ERP system. Finally, Advent's tool making and fixture building background also enables us to design and build customer inspection fixture gages and tools where required.
